Passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at Hospice Huronia, Penetanguishene, Ontario at the age of 73.
Roger of Lafontaine, Loving father of Kim (Steve) Spendlove, Pierre (Julie Martin) Moreau, Serge (Kathy Lediard) Moreau and the late Luc Moreau (Nicole Ashford). Caring brother of Janine Labrecque, Mirande Maurice, Patricia Lacroix, Pauline Robitaille, Evain Moreau, Greg Moreau, Elizabeth Laurin, Carmaine Moreau and Julie Lapointe. Cherished grandfather to 8 grandchildren. Roger will also be missed by Lorraine (Blondin) Moreau, Elise (Steinberg) Robitaille, his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Friends are invited to join the family at the Penetanguishene Funeral home, 155 Main Street, Penetanguishene for a visitation on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 from 2pm-4pm and again from 6pm-8pm. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at the Wyebridge Community Centre starting at 2pm. A burial is to follow at the Waverley Gospel Hall Cemetery.
Reception to follow the burial at the Wyebridge Community Centre. If desired, donation in honour of Roger can be made to Hospice Huronia and would be greatly appreciated by his family. Please leave a message or condolence on Roger’s book of memorial.
