Peacefully at Georgian Bay General Hospital on Wednesday January 8, 2025 at the age of 90.
Beloved wife of the late Tom O’Hara. Loving and devoted Mother of Kevin (Shawne) O’Hara, Brent (Rhonda) O’Hara, Kathy (Mike) Brennan, Christine (John) Magnus and the late Richard and Sue O’Hara. Predeceased by her many brothers and sisters. Loving and adored Gram of 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Always loved and remembered by Cheryl O’Hara.
Family will receive guests at Carson Funeral Home – J.H. Lynn Chapel, 290 First St. in Midland (705) 526-6551 on Tuesday January 14, 2025 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. John’s the Evangelist Parish, 207 Pine St., in Waubaushene on Wednesday January 15, 2025 starting at 11am.
A reception luncheon will follow at the church. Shirley will be laid to rest beside her dear husband Tom at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in in the spring.
