It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of William “Bill” Leslie Pickett on Monday January 6th, 2025.
Beloved husband and best friend of 31 years to Wanita. Loving father to Shawna Archer (Taylor), Sarah Pickett (Dustin Schimkat), Michael Pickett (Hayley Greene), Jenna Pickett (Andrew Waltenbury), and Shinay Pickett. Step father to Stacey Clarke and the late Tara Clarke. Cherished Papa to Marshall Haourt, Brooklyn Schimkat, Ava Schimkat, Ace Archer, Axl Archer, Kinley Beaudoin, Dallas Waltenbury and one on the way. Dear brother to John Pickett (Denise) and Glen Pickett (Alison Toderoff). Best friend to Bill Ruston (Audrey).
Bill will be fondly remembered by his extended family, friends, and colleagues at Georgian Bay General Hospital. Bill will be missed by many and will be remembered for his goofy personality. He always wore a great smile on his face and loved his family dearly. He was an outdoor enthusiast who never said no to a ride on the A.T.V or spending weekends camping with his friends and family.
Cremation arrangements entrusted to Nicholls Funeral Home. If desired, donations in memory of Bill may be made to the Midland OSPCA or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
