A man has been charged in relation to a gas station robbery Monday in Midland.
Shortly before 3 a.m., police attended the Ultramar station on County Road 93 after a man reportedly threatened the lone employee with a weapon hidden under his coat, Southern Georgian Bay OPP said in a news release. The suspect fled on foot with cash and cigarettes.
At about 3 p.m. Thursday, Nicolas Stephen Banks, 28, of Midland, was arrested and charged with robbery with theft. He was released from custody with a Feb. 20 court date.
