An 80-year-old pedestrian suffered serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday in Midland.
Emergency crews responded to the scene on King Street shortly after noon. The pedestrian was struck while crossing King Street between McMurtry Road and Robert Street. The vehicle involved, a white Chevrolet, was being driven by a 74-year-old Midland man.
The woman was taken to a Toronto trauma hospital with serious injuries, Southern Georgian Bay OPP said in a news release.
