Motorists are asked to avoid all non-essential travel in the Township of Springwater today. High winds are creating drifting snow and white out conditions on roads throughout the Township. Conditions are expected to deteriorate further throughout the day
Below is a list of current road closures in the Township:
- Flos Road 4 W: County Road 27 to 26 m east of Sunnidale Concession 12
- Flos Road 6 W: County Road 27 to Ryther Road
- Flos Road 7 W: County Road 27 to Vigo Road
- Flos Road 8 W: County Road 27 to Vigo Road
- Flos Road 10 W: County Road 27 to Vigo Road
- Flos Road 11 W: County Road 27 to Twin Pines Drive in Wasaga Beach
- Tiny Flos Townline: County Road 27 to west of Crossland Road
- County Road 92
- Crossland Road
- Hwy 26 - Horseshoe Valley Road W
- Concession 2 East in Tiny Township between Dawsons Sideroad and Baseline Road South

The Elmvale Community Centre located at 33 Queen Street W, Elmvale has been opened as an Emergency Warming Centre for anyone stranded by the storm.
Motorists who are stuck or stranded on the roads are asked to call the OPP non-emergency line at 705-429-3575.
