Baby Raven wasn’t waiting to make it to the hospital to enter the world Tuesday morning.
Shortly after 3 a.m., Orillia OPP received a report of a woman who had gone into labour on the side of Highway 12 in Ramara Township.
“Officers arrived on scene to a beautiful, healthy baby girl having been born,” police said in a news release.
The officers and Ramara firefighters stayed with the family until paramedics arrived to take them to hospital.
“The OPP would like to welcome baby Raven to the world and congratulate Xiaoxue Chen (mom) and Pablo Petraco (dad) and Wolf (brother) on the safe arrival of their new bundle of joy,” police said.
