Two people were charged in two days with impaired operation in Springwater Township.
Shortly before 10 p.m. Thursday, police responded to a single-vehicle collision on Highway 400 North near Forbes Road. The 38-year-old driver, a Penetanguishene man, was charged with operation while impaired (blood-alcohol concentration 80-plus).
Just after 11 p.m. Friday, Huronia West OPP officers conducted a traffic stop on several snowmobiles at Flos Road 3 and Phelpston Road. A 46-year-old Barrie man was charged with operation while impaired (alcohol and drugs) and operation while impaired (blood-alcohol concentration 80-plus).
