Police are investigating an assault with a weapon that occurred June 22 in Midland.
Shortly after 1:30 p.m., police responded to a business on Midland Avenue, where an altercation between two males had taken place.
A 40-year-old man was taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries apparently caused by “an edged weapon,” Southern Georgian Bay OPP said in a news release.
Police say the incident was targeted and there is no threat to public safety.
