Suspects caused $10K in damage to Mountainview Mall in Midland: OPP

Police are looking for two suspects after the Mountainview Mall in Midland was vandalized last month.

A mall staffer contacted police Nov. 22 to report a break-in that happened sometime between 11:30 a.m. Nov. 21 and 10 a.m. Nov. 22. The suspects “emptied 15 fire extinguishers and spray-painted a considerable amount of graffiti on the interior walls of the mall,” Southern Georgian Bay OPP said in a news release.

The cost of damage is estimated to be more than $10,000.

One suspect is described as a white teenage female with long dark hair, wearing a black sweat top, black flip-flops, white socks, a grey backpack, grey sweat pants, and shades on top of her head.

The other suspect is described as a white teenage male, wearing a black zipped-up hooded sweatshirt, red track pants, and black running shoes.
