Everyone can be affected by the cold. It is important to take extra steps to stay safe during enhanced cold weather conditions, as directed by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU).
When temperatures reach -15oC, wearing adequate protective clothing and limiting long periods outside will help us stay warm and safe. The SMDHU has helpful tips on their Cold Weather webpage. By being mindful and taking extra precaution, we can ensure the safety and well-being of our community.
