Kudos to Seaghan Hancocks for his excellent letter in MidlandToday.
How well he spelled out what sets us apart from our southern neighbours.
Now, if we can get our politicians of all stripes to work together in a concerted effort to protect our country from the existential threat of the incoming American administration, we can surely make evident that we will always be a sovereign nation.
In the next few weeks, let us see Pierre Poilievre, with no equivocating, join the other federal and provincial leaders in making this position known.
This is no time for division.
