A popular Midland area dog park needs some repairs and the local animal shelter has come up with a novel way to raise funds.
On Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., local residents can drop by the Ontario SPCA Midland & District Animal Centre off Hwy. 12 to for a fall pet photo-shoot.
The minimum donation is $15 for two photos with all proceeds going towards repairing the entrance gates at Carver’s Place Dog Park.
“The cost for this will be $2000, and we need the community's support to get there,” explains Carolyn Gibson-Webster, the shelter’s community outreach coordinator.
