It is with sad hearts that the family of Betty Allen announce her passing after an extended illness, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Reg Allen for over 50 years.
Betty was born and raised in Muskoka to Victor and Marguerite Creasor. Dear sister of Lillian Gillan (late Bruce), Doris Shortt (late Laurence), late Marion O’rourke and late Truman Creasor. Betty moved to Midland in 1953 where she started her family. Cherished mother of Sandra Bourgeois (Jules), Edward Allen (Arlene), Kymberly Allen and special gift Kevin. Will be greatly missed by grandchildren Mindy, Troy, Derek, Brandon, Nash and Jixi. Loving great-grandma to Layton, Mason, Halle, Tala and great-great-grandma to Bryer.
She will also be greatly missed by niece and nephew Dave and Debbie Allen who were always hands on and of course not to mention John Green who was always there for her. The family would also like to thank special neighbours Sue, Guy and Isaac for their very much needed kindness. She fought a huge battle but is now at peace and in God’s hands.
Funeral service will be held at Nicholls Funeral Home, 330 Midland Avenue, Midland, Ontario on Wednesday January 31, 2024 at 2pm with visitation from 12-2pm.
Memorial donations to the OSPCA would be appreciated by the family.
