It is with great sadness we announce the passing of William James Armitage on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the age of 47 years.
Beloved son of Allan and Marilou Armitage and predeceased by his mother Nancy Armitage. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his sister Tracy and her family. He will be deeply missed by his extended family and many friends.
Bill was deeply passionate about shaping a cleaner, more resilient future for the Maritime community. His ground-breaking work paved the way for CCGS low-carbon bio fuel transition. Bills contributions and dedication will not be forgotten and our community will always be grateful for his legacy.
Donations in memory of Bill may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Society and would be appreciated by the family.
