Michael was born on October 1st, 1957 in Penetanguishene. He passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer, in his 68th year on January 21st, 2025.
Remembered as a kind hearted, genuine man that could do anything he put his mind to. He was well known in his hometown for his skills of boat building and will never be forgotten.
Michael will be sadly missed and is survived by his wife of 41 years, Linda Bellehumeur (nee Robitaille), his daughter Meagan George (Ben), step-daughter Amie Cowan (Andrew), grandchildren Charlie, Lucas, Ben, Rylee, Claire, Mavis, Maya, great-granddaughter Lillian and his sisters Marilyn (Tom), Susan and Sharon (Jamie). Loving son-in-law of Martin Robitaille (late Joyce) and brother-in-law of David (late Susan), Sherry (Murray) and Brenda. He was predeceased by his parents Red and Shirley Bellehumeur and sister Nancy Junck.
Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

Memorial donations in Michaels name may be made to Hospice Huronia Tomkins House or Georgian Bay Cancer Support Centre.
