Alan Alexander Lewis (P.Eng)
Passed away peacefully at Tomkins House Hospice in Penetanguishene on September 12th at the grand age of 96 years. Beloved husband of Patricia and loving father of Lori Finglas (Stephen). Cherished grandfather of James (Ashleigh) and Tristan, great grandfather of Ava and Tilly. Uncle to Paula and Mark in the UK. Fondly remembered by extended family and friends.
Alan lived a long, adventurous life. From an early age he was devoted to design and engineering aircraft. He was inseparable from his beloved wife and they travelled the world, riding elephants in Thailand, snorkelling the reef in Australia and walking the streets of Pompeii. His love of skiing, golf, sailing and bridge kept him young and active.
In the near future, a Celebration of Life will be held to commemorate Alan and the wonderful person he was.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Tomkins House would be appreciated by the family.
