Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday February 26, 2024 at the age of 90. Dear companion of Donna Lesperance. Loving father of Barb (Doug) Kent, Brenda (Randy) Pitts, Duke (Brenda) Mayer, Crystal Mayer, Angie (Kirk) Binns, and Ryan Buttineau. Cherished Grandpa of 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Survived by his sister Patsy (late Maurice) Marchildon. Nelson is predeceased by his daughter Barb (Doug) Kent, his brothers Lionel (Anita), Marshall (Jackie), Ray (Doris) and by his sisters Clorraine Grozelle, and Marie Yates.
Family would like to send a thank you to Penny Frandsen and to all the staff at King Place Retirement Living in Midland, for all the love and care they showed Nelson and our family.
Funeral arrangement entrusted to Penetanguishene Funeral Home, 155 Main Street, Penetanguishene, Ontario (705) 990-4728. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held in the summer.
Memorial donations to Hospice Huronia or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family if desired.
