Sadly, on October 23, 2024 Roger Irving Priddle, known as Bucky to his family, suddenly passed away at the Villa Care Center after a long illness. He was the beloved only brother of Susan Reader, Betsy Priddle and Cathy Pelletier and the loving uncle of his nieces and nephews.
Bucky was kind, generous, and loving to his family and friends with a great sense of humour, vast knowledge and a penchant for “discussing”.
His great love was music. He graduated from UBC Vancouver in vocal music, teaching music in high schools In Barrie and Midland. With his partner Bev, he started the Vox Huronia choir in 2000 which quickly grew from 18 to 50 people and continues to this day as a thriving Choir.
A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Donations to the Vox Huronia choir would be appreciated.
His family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at the Villa Care Centre and particularly Anne and Lila for the care and humour they extended to him during his time there.
