Bernitta Delima (Desroches) Robillard passed away peacefully at Hospice Huronia - Tomkins House in Penetanguishene on Monday, October 28, 2024 at the age of 81.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 63 years, Alvin Robillard, her three children Pauline (John), David, and Brian (Carrie Anne), six grandchildren Amanda, Melissa, Mackenzie, Kelsey, Emma, and Kyle, and three great-grandchildren Colton, Cadence, and Camdyn. Her family meant the world to her.
She also leaves behind her sisters Yvonne, Theresa, and Anne. Predeceased by siblings Neil, Jeanette, and David.
Mom has many talents including quilting, knitting, cooking, and baking. She enjoyed many vacations with friends, cottage life in Cognashene, and then her motorhome days with all her friends along the way.
Mom suffered with a depleting disease called PLS (a slower version of ALS). We cannot thank enough the support she received along the way from Sunnybrook Hospital. Bayshore Home Care Services, all the PSWs who cared for her, Dr. Julie Caron, and the wonderful care she received from all the nurses, staff and volunteers at hospice.
A funeral mass will take place at St Anne's Church in Penetanguishene on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 10:00am - A celebration of life will follow at the Penetanguishene Curling Club from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Hospice Huronia - Tomkins House would be greatly appreciated by the family.
