A man is facing numerous charges following an incident Wednesday that led to a heavy police presence in town and a hold-and-secure situation at a Midland high school.
Police responded to a Frazer Drive residence shortly after 9 a.m. The road was closed between Rose Crescent and Park Avenue, and nearby St. Theresa’s Catholic High School was in hold-and-secure mode out of “an abundance of caution,” police said.

He is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
