Southern Georgian Bay OPP have arrested a 41-year-old man in connection with a robbery in Midland last month.
On Sept. 25, officers responded to an incident at a multi-resident dwelling on Elizabeth St. and spoke with a 45-year-old man who had been assaulted and robbed while outside the building by another person he knew.
While police didn’t disclose the extent of the man's injuries, he was eventually taken to hospital for treatment and later released.
Investigators were able to identify the suspect and shortly before 10 a.m. Tuesday arrested Ryan David Dicks, of no fixed address, Midland.
Dicks faces a charge of robbery with violence. He was held for bail hearing and will appear in court at a future date.
