Police upgrade Victoria Harbour shooting investigation to homicide

Southern Georgian Bay OPP has upgraded the investigation into the shooting of Jamie Miller to homicide after the Victoria Harbour man died.

Just after 2 p.m. on Aug. 17, emergency crews responded to reports of gunshots outside of a residence on Maple Street. Miller was found with gunshot wounds outside his home. He was airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.

He died of his injuries Aug. 22, leading police to begin a homicide investigation, announced Friday.
