A woman pulled over Wednesday in Springwater Township for driving while suspended is facing impaired and other charges.
At about 1:30 p.m., a cruiser’s automated licence plate recognition system alerted a Huronia West OPP officer to a suspended driver on Penetanguishene Road.
Susan Debruyn, 65, of Tiny Township, was arrested and has been charged with operation while impaired (blood-alcohol concentration 80-plus), driving while under suspension, failure to surrender an insurance card, and breach of a probation order.
She will appear in court at a later date.
