A Wasaga Beach man has been charged following an investigation into child sexual exploitation.
Police executed a search warrant at a residence and seized several electronic devices, Ontario Provincial Police said in a news release.
Brayden Sturgess, 24, has been charged with possession of child pornography (two counts) and making child pornography available. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing Thursday in Barrie.
“Children deserve to grow up safe and free from harm. Each time an image or video of child sexual abuse is shared, it can deepen the trauma for that child. The OPP remains committed to identifying and prosecuting those who exploit children online,” said Det.-Staff Sgt. Chris Barkey.
