Tay Township man facing impaired, drug charges

A Tay Township man is facing charges after police received a call about a possibly impaired driver Tuesday.

At about 5:30 p.m., police received a report of a driver of a pickup truck who was impaired by a drug and was driving somewhere in Tay. Police saw the vehicle being driven erratically on Highway 12, heading into Midland, Southern Georgian Bay OPP said in a news release.

Philip Rhodenizer, 41, has been charged with operation while impaired and possession of a Schedule 1 substance. He has a June 20 court date in Midland.
