Known by all he loved as the avid traveller, on Tuesday, November 12th, 2024, John Andrew Carveth peacefully departed for the next leg of his life journey, fuelled by curiosity, fine malt whiskey, and political debates.
The world will miss his echoing laughter, quick wit and gentle smile. Beloved husband and best friend of 42 years to Maggie. Loving father and friend to Becky (Sarah) and Katie. Dear brother to Anne (Chris). Predeceased by his parents David and Betty Carveth.
John will be deeply missed by all his extended family and friends whose lives he touched throughout his life and travels. Cremation services entrusted to Nicholls Funeral Home. The family kindly asks for any memories about John to be shared on our website.
The family will be holding a closed private funeral November 21, 2024.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada, Canadian Cancer Society, or Hospice Huronia-Tomkins House.
