Passed peacefully with family by her side at Georgian Bay General Hospital in her 84th year.
Dear mother of Terri of Alberta, Mike (Wendy) of Alberta, Tami of Midland and Cherene (Cory) of New Brunswick. Predeceased by her beloved 1st granddaughter Dawn, and leaves behind grandchildren Amber, Clint, Keegan, Shelby, Marcus, Lindsay, Jared, Cora, Lacy and Eric. Leaves behind 22 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents, Reg and Thelma Downing, and her brother Keith (Kathy). Leaves behind her siblings Naomi (Will (d)), Paul (Farah), Peter, Joe (Will) and Irene (Chuck). Will be missed by her little Yorkie Lucy and welcomed HOME by a parade of four-legged loves of her life! If desired, memorial donations to the OSPCA would be appreciated.
A very special acknowledgement of GRATITUDE to the wonderful nurses of GBGH, especially 2e Alaura and Avery, and 1n Simone, Melissa, Bailey and Madeline, and a world of love to Tracy and Lindsay for being the best supporters in our time of need.
Friends and family are invited to a memorial service at 11 am on Saturday, September 7th, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1573 Golf Link Road, Midland, followed by light refreshments and fellowship.
