September 22, 1936 – August 7th, 2024
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Patrick (Pat) DuCharme in his 87th year at Hospice Huronia on 07/August/2024, in Penetanguishene.
He is predeceased by his wife of 63 years Mary (Ruth) DuCharme. He is survived by his children Mark (Kate), John (Gail), Matthew (Jodi) and Luke (Tanya). He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren Nicholas (Brooke), David (Puukii), Blake, Alexander, Jack, Michael, Rachel, Claire, Laura, Joshua, Isabella and 2 great grandsons Benjamin and Zachary. Pat is now resting in peace and has been reunited with Ruth.
In keeping with his wishes there will be a private family viewing at the funeral home, but a public mass will be held on Tuesday August 13th, 2024 at St Florence Chapel in Thunder Beach at 11 o'clock.
The DuCharme family is forever grateful to the amazing staff and volunteers at Bayshore Nursing, Creative Care and finally, Hospice Huronia, for the level of caring and kindness they not only showed Pat but the entire family. Making this end of life journey a very peaceful one.
