Passed away on Wednesday July 18, 2024 at his home at the age of 65.
Martin was born in Witten, Germany on March 1, 1959, to the late Max and the late Hannelore. Martin is survived by his sisters Isolde Sladek, Anne Steffen and brother Wilfried Giebel. Martin will be dearly missed by his adopted “Ismail family”, his church family and the community.
Cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends at Nicholls Funeral home 330 Midland Ave, Midland Ontario 705-995-2766, on Thursday August 1, 2024 from 4pm-6pm. A memorial service will be held on Friday August 2, 2024, at his church St. Marks Anglican Lutheran Church at 1:00 pm.
Memorial donation to St. Marks Anglican Lutheran Church, Life4Kids (Kenya), and Canadian Lutheran World Relief would be appreciated.
